Well done you. What a wonderful exhibition, excellent standard of work and a wonderful way of celebrating teaching, learning and achievement whoops RARPA 4. Sorry we were late but would not have got through the door for all the learners if we had been on time. Nice to go into Kosta's Taverna and see everyone chatting over light refreshments and discussing their work and meeting up with Gwen Hawdon and Catherine Cooke shame other members of staff could not it. Hope somebody captured this very successful event on camera.
Comments by Ken Good cross section of pictures both abstract and scenary of a high standard of workmanship.
Yes it is a shame other members of staff didn't join us. They missed some excellent Art good wine, excellent cakes and coffee (many thanks to the Chatterboxes)and the opportunity to socialise in Kosta's and thanks to Ken for his feedback.
I am an artist and art tutor for adult learning. I have a BA hons in Art & Design. I have exhibited my work in galleries in Bradford, Huddersfield, Wakefield, Littleborough, Leeds and Harrogate and also undertake commissions.
Besides enjoying the Arts, I am also a qualified level 2 Reiki Healer.
I enjoy waking up to the sound of Spring in the morning, drinking good wine, spending time with my family and friends.
I am very concerned about the way the human race has and is continuing to mistreat this beautiful planet, the China/ Tibet problem, how our consumerism creates an excessive and unecessary manufacture of plastic which is choking the seas and using up the resources.
I have seen the majesty of whales in the wild and I have been swimming with dolphins and totally disagree with any country that advocates the killing of both, whatever the excuse.
